meredith & travis •• dunleith wedding in natchez, ms

It has taken me far to long to get this posted. Meredith and Travis’ Natchez wedding at Dunleith was absolutely gorgeous! It was almost fairytale-like. Travis is a Marine so he was married in his dress blues and a bunch of his friends are also Marines so lots of guys in uniform. Meredith was stunning, the ceremony was on the front lawn of Dunleith and there was a horse and carriage. The recipe for beautiful pictures if I do say so myself. :-) Not only that, but Travis’ dad officiated the ceremony which was both touching and personal.

Much thanks to Aaron Phillips for shooting with me as well as driving us back to Jackson after the wedding. I think that is the latest I have stayed up in years. :-)

Meredith and Travis– thanks so much for having me be a part of your big day! I hope you are getting settled in FL.

A few favorites along with a slideshow HERE.

randolph family •• portrait session

Several months ago I met up with Miriam, Mary Elizabeth and Stephen to shoot a surprise session for their mom’s upcoming birthday. Apparently their mom has been begging them to have some pictures made for awhile now, like years, and they just had never done it.  So this year they decided to make it happen in time for her birthday. I have had to wait awhile to post these just in case some little bird saw them and word got back to Mrs. Randolph and ruined her birthday surprise. The report is that she was thoroughly surprised and even may have shed a tear or two despite her non-crying nature. :-)

I had a great time guys!

meredith •• dunleith bridals

Last weekend I photographed the gorgeous Natchez wedding of Meredith and Travis at the Dunleith House and I can’t wait to share some of those images, but until I get those ready I can finally share a few from Meredith’s Dunleith bridal session.

This first image is the one she chose to have printed as a canvas and it turned out beautifully. :-)

anna grace & julia •• portrait session

A few weeks ago my cousin Julia came to town to stay the week with my family and visit with my sister Anna Grace. I snagged them for a bit to grab some photos as has become a summer tradition when Julia comes to town. These girls are two peas in a pod and it is so fun seeing them grow up into such beautiful young ladies. :-)

Can you guess which is my sister? Everyone says we look alike. :-)

haley •• jackson senior session

I met Haley briefly several months ago when I photographed her cousin Holly’s wedding. Several weeks back her mom emailed me about shooting Haley’s senior portraits and I was so happy to do so! I met up with Haley and her mom a week or so ago and it turns out that Haley knows my sister because they played basketball against each other before my sister graduated high school several years ago and Haley has continued to follow her college basketball career. It’s always fun when I find random connections with my clients. :-)

Haley was so great in front of my camera and we had a lot of fun. Throughout the session I kept telling her mom that I’m pretty sure she’s done this before. We did the shoot at the Renaissance and it was so hot that Haley decided at the very end to have some fun in the fountains. I totally would have joined her in getting soaked except that I wanted my camera to still function when we were all done. :-)

Haley, you are beautiful and I had such a great time hanging out!
